Are you fond of math and Pi, or pies of the edible kind – shepherd’s, pizza, apple?
First Parish, located in Bedford Common’s historic meetinghouse, will host an intergenerational potluck supper on Saturday, March 14, also known as Pi Day or 31415.
All are welcome: Set-up begins at 5:30 pm, and you’ll be on your way home before 9.
There may also be a small celebration of Albert Einstein’s birthday — he was born on PI Day in 1879. How old would he be this year?
Take your inspiration from the theme and bring your favorite math games, and a pot pie or pizza for dinner or a yummy pie for dessert.
But don’t let a math phobia keep you away because all are welcome to join the fun in the Common Room. Bring your family, friends, games, and a potluck dish to serve (6-8) and commit to helping with set up or clean up. A contribution of $1 per person is requested to cover the cost of cider, seltzer and rolls and butter.
Using the Elm Street entrance, First Parish is fully accessible. Please RSVP to Sandy Boczenowski ([email protected])
