Fire Chief David Grunes and Captain Mark Sullivan were in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania this week, testing Bedford’s new ladder truck. In an email Chief Grunes said, “This truck could not have been built without the assistance of Lieutenant Mike Bauman, and Firefighters Joe Barilla, Matt Busa and Brian Oates who worked on the design team.

Once the testing is complete, Ladder One will get its insignias and markings before traveling to Bedford where it is expected to go into service in October.
