If you smell delicious apple crisp coming from Bedford Common on September 27, your nose is not deceiving you. The 3rd Annual First Parish Apple Festival is back, and better then ever. The festival will be open from 10 am until 3 pm.
As with last year, this year the event will include apple crisp, Bedford Farms ice cream, cider, cider donuts, an bake table, and of course…apples.
Similar to last year, lunch will also be served. The lunch menu will include; 2 hearty fall soups, cheese, and bread. In addition to apple crisp, the First Parish Apple Festival will once again being offering a cider donut sundae to the dessert offerings.
Also new this year will be more games for the kids, and other activities as well. There will be live music, pumpkin decorating, gourd tosses, a jewelry table, a restaurant gift card raffle (all local) , A Petting Zoo and more activities for the kids.
This year the Apple Festival will be going “green”. “We are really trying to reduce the trash”, said Gene. “The Green Sanctuary Committee here at the church approached us , and have come up with some great plans.” he said.
Plan on coming to the Apple Festival, on September 27th, for some great food and a lot of fun for the whole family. Admission is free
