The Town of Bedford’s landfill at 108 Carlisle Road will be open to residents needing to dispose of yard waste from the July 7 storm. The landfill will be open daily through Friday from 7:30 am – 2:30 pm,  with extended hours until 6:30 pm on Thursday, and a full day on Saturday, July 12, from 8 am until 4 pm.

DPW Engineer Adrienne St. John stressed that “No wood other than trees and brush,” can be accepted. Damaged wooden fences, decks and other building materials must be disposed of elsewhere. The landfill is open to residents only, not contractors.
