As part of Burlington’s Fourth of July celebration, State Representative Ken Gordon (D-Bedford) has arranged for the children and teens of the Burlington Players to present The Declaration of Independence: A Birthday Card to America. The brief skit, written by the Players’ Jennifer Howard and performed by its members, will be accompanied by the Minutemen of Burlington and Bedford.
The performance will be at the gazebo on the Burlington town common at 10 a.m. during the children’s festivities that begin an hour before. The parade will step off at 11 a.m.
All Bedford patriots, their families and their friends are welcome to attend the free performance.
