Important Public Meeting about Anti-Semitic Intolerance Scheduled for Tomorrow, April 2

Compiled by The Bedford Citizen

Bedford-Embraces-Diversity_In a late March follow-up message to the community about anti-Semitism in the schools, Superintendent Sills invited the community to become involved in turning suggestions into actual programs and practices.

Two followup meetings to the public forum about anti-Semitic intolerance have been scheduled,

  • April 2  at 7:00pm in the BHS Large Group Instruction Room, and
  • April 10 at 4:00pm at Town Hall

Sills intends to create a working committee that is committed to opposing anti-Semitism and other forms of intolerance and to promoting acceptance and an appreciation for diversity.

The committee will include town personnel, community members and school personnel, and with some encouragement, students.

If you intend to attend, please RSVP by emailing [email protected] so the conveners can better structure the meeting.
