Two book-related stories for your consideration: Noreen O’Gara will talk about “Bedford Book” at this Sunday’s Bedford Lyceum at First Parish, and preparing for the Friends of the Library’s annual April book sale.

The Exciting Future for “Bedford Book”

What? No Bedford Book this year? ‘Tis true. The library felt it was time to take a new look at this annual event and consider how to re-energize it for the future. What worked? What didn’t work? What are some new approaches that might be tried to encourage broader participation? Got some titles in mind?

Noreen O’Gara, Assistant Director of the Bedford Library, will will review the history of the Bedford Book and discuss possible alternatives for going forward at the Bedford Lyceum at First Parish on Sunday morning, March 23 from 9:30-10:50 am.

Whether you are a long-time fan of the Bedford Book or aren’t even sure what the Bedford Book is, join us to find out about this wonderful community-wide program and to discuss how to keep it fresh and engaging to all. Ginni Spencer will moderate.
