Although several items on the Capital Expenditures list were held aside for further discussion and Article 5 – Bills of Prior Years was tabled because there were no bills of prior years to pay, each article from 1 to 18 passed on a voice vote, creating a 100% approval rate on the first night of Bedford’s Annual Town Meeting.
The meeting will reconvene tomorrow, Tuesday, March 25, at 7:30 pm in the Bedford High School auditorium to consider articles 19 through 30: Community Preservation Budget – Fiscal Year 2015; Community Preservation Land Acquisition Fund; Appropriate Funds for Bedford Permanent Firefighters Association; Supplement Operating Budgets for Fiscal Year 2014 and; Salary Administration Plan Bylaw Amendment – Classification & Wage; Operating Budget – Fiscal Year 2015; Ambulance Enterprise Budget – Fiscal Year 2015; Salary Plan Additional Funding; Other Post-Employment Benefits Liability Trust Fund Appropriation; Supplement Accrued Sick Leave Fund; Stabilization Fund Appropriation; and Free Cash.
