Development planning is underway for a three-story residential building on Bedford’s Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans’ Administration Hospital campus, to facilitate veterans’ access to services provided at the facility.
The design calls for a low-impact development with a vegetative pond (one that is ecologically friendly and naturally self-filtering).
According to Assistant Planner Catherine Perry’s report at the Planning Board’s February 25 meeting, 70 small one-bedroom units are planned for veterans age 55 and over, and one supervisor. Occupancy is for adults only. No identified sex offenders will be permitted.
