The annual meeting for the  Friends of the Job Lane House will take place at 2 pm on Sunday, March 9, at First Parish on the Common. There will be a brief business meeting and refreshments before Michael March, an antique appraiser and auctioneer whose talk The Art and Antiques Market: Buying at Auction, Trends, Etc. is sure to be of interest to collectors and residents alike.

Marsh is a principal in Blackwood March Auctioneers (https://www.blackwoodauction.com/). Now in its second generation, Blackwood March auctioneers and appraisers have appraised and sold at auction fine art and antiques for trusts, estates, attorneys and individuals, establishing auction records for such artists as Aldro Thompson Hibbard, Emile A. Gruppe and Frederick Mulhaupt, as well as selling antiques and accessories for strong prices for their clients.

The meeting is free and open to the public, although a contribution of finger food for the buffet will be appreciated.

For additional information, contact president of the Friends Sharon McDonald at 781-275-5643.
