Great things are happening with Bedford Family Connection (BFC): A private party at Jamtime in Maynard; Valentine crafts and a visit to Carleton Willard Village; a Winter Olympics event and Disney movie during February vacation week; and our annual New Moms’ Brunch.
BFC Jamtime Party
It’s a private party for the BFC! On Sunday, February 9th, from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m., the Bedford Family Connection will have Jamtime all to itself! Jamtime is located at 86 Powder Mill Road, Maynard
The party will feature exclusive use of the indoor playspace, balloons, temporary tattoos and face painting, snacks and drinks, and a visit from JT the Moose. We will also serve pizza – no need to cook that night!
Just $7 per person (adults and/or children ages 1 and over). $25 family maximum!! You can then pay at the door. Jamtime has a maximum capacity of 110 people, so RSVP is crucial for this event. Please let us know if you are coming on Big Tent or at [email protected].
Valentine’s Day Crafts and Carleton Willard Visit
All week prior to Valentine’s Day (Feb. 10-14th), the BFC playroom will feature a Valentine’s Day craft. We will be making cards that we will deliver to the seniors at Carleton Willard on Saturday, Feb. 15th at 10:30am. You can join us to make the cards at the BFC playroom, open each day from 9:30-11:30 am on the lower level of First Parish Church, 75 Great Rd. Regular playroom rates apply, which are $0.50 per child over 1 for BFC members and $2 per child for non-members. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Bedford Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the MA Cultural Council, a state agency.
Winter Olympics, co-sponsored by Open Arms Christian Preschool
Calling all Members of Team USA: Come to the Open Arms Christian Preschool, 426 Davis Rd. in Bedford from 10 am until noon on Tuesday, February 19.
Learn about the different countries competing in the Olympics by playing in games and activities to fill out your passport. When your passport is complete you earn a spot on the medals stand. Older siblings are welcome to join (as always!) for this fun Winter Vacation Week activity. This event is co-sponsored by Open Arms Christian Preschool. A classroom will be open to visit and two teachers will be at the event to meet and answer questions about the school.
Vacation Week Movie and Snacks at the Bedford Public Library
Please join us at the Bedford Library for a showing of the Disney movie Planes from 10 am until noon on Friday, February 21.
A great morning activity over the February school vacation! Snacks will be provided.
New Mom’s Brunch
Calling all new moms! Have you become a new mother by either birth or adoption since April 1, 2013?
If so, you are cordially invited to our New Mom’s Brunch. Whether it is your first child or tenth (!), every new child deserves to be celebrated! All new moms in Bedford – BFC membership is not required – are welcome to attend. So if you know someone with a baby, or if you have one yourself, please email us at [email protected] with your name, address, email, phone number, child’s name, and date of birth so we can add you to our invite list.
