All residents of Bedford are invited to hear Bedford Police Chief Robert Bongiorno when he speaks at the First Parish Lyceum on Sunday, October 6. The Lyceum begins at 9:30 am. Visitors are urged to use the Elm Street entrance and come to Room 202 on the building’s second floor. First Parish is fully accessible.
Bongiorno will talk about the Marathon bombings and the role the Bedford Police Department played in the events leading up to the capture of the terrorist suspects. He will follow his remarks with a short video of the events in Watertown/Boston, and will then share information about ongoing community policing initiatives. There will be time for questions at the end of his presentation.
