Playroom Reopening

The BFC Playroom in the lower level of First Parish Church, 75 Great Road, Bedford, re-opened for the school year on Tuesday September 17th.  The Playroom is open 9:30-11:30am Monday – Friday, following the Bedford Public Schools calendar.  This fun-filled space has toys and craft supplies for children to enjoy and a nut-free snack is served every day.  Admission is $0.50 per child per day for BFC members and $2 per child per day for non-members.  Join us as we celebrate our re-opening with a special event on Tuesday, September 24th featuring a Music Together demo class by Greg Nikitas from Footnotes Music.  Admission will be waived for this special event.

New Moms’ Group Starting

Do you have a baby who is under 12 months old?  Looking to get out of the house and connect with other moms?  We are starting a group within the BFC for New Moms to have regular activities, such as stroller walks, lunches, and “playdates.”  If there is interest, we will form both a weekday and weekend group.  Email [email protected] to sign up.

Playgroups Forming

Would you like your children to play with others their age?  Are you interested in connecting with other parents?  Join a BFC playgroup!  The groups are organized by the age of children.  New this year, we plan to offer playgroups both during the week and on the weekend to accommodate different schedules.  Playgroups are forming now, so email [email protected] to sign up.

Join the BFC

Do these and other activities for children 0-5 sound interesting?  Then join the BFC!  We are a volunteer-run organization that has been providing resources, supports, and activities for local families with children ages five and under since 1988.  Email [email protected] for information on how to join.  And please come visit our booth on Bedford Day.
