The Bedford 4-H members will be exhibiting their calves, goats, chickens, pocket pets, arts and crafts at the Middlesex County 4H Fair in Westford.

The fairgrounds are located at 55 South Chelmsford Rd, Westford, and the fair is open on Saturday, August 24, from 8:30 am until 8 pm, and on Sunday, August 25, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.

Lucy Hand, the Bedford 4-H club’s president, will be demonstrating calves trained to yoke during the fair, and her sister Victoria Hand has written a superlative poem on tigers, “Forest’s Fire”.
