Submitted by Bedford’s Fire Chief David Grunes
Bedford’s Fire Chief David Grunes was joined by State Representative Ken Gordon in recognizing the following awards to the town’s firefighters:
- Firefighter Charles Nickerson, 25 years of service
- Captain Charles Stone, 20 years of service
- Firefighter Thomas Piccirillo, for 20 years of service
- Firefighter Brian Fedele, for graduating the Massachusetts Fire Academy.
Captain Stone and Firefighters Nickerson and Piccirillo were presented recognition certificates from the State House of Representatives by Representative Gordon. Service pins and certificates from the Massachusetts Fire Service Commission were presented by Chief Grunes.
Firefighter Fedele was awarded a recognition certificate from the State House of Representatives presented by Representative Gordon, with his helmet shield and uniform pins presented by Chief Grunes.
