Tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 7pm, the Bedford Clergy will host a brief candle-lighting on the steps of First Parish to honor the lives lost and damaged by Monday’s terrorism in Boston, and also to rededicate ourselves to a world free of violence with liberty and justice for all.

Clergy participants will offer brief words and silence, and an opportunity to light and leave candles on the steps of First Parish.

At the conclusion, the steeple bell, inscribed with the words “To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die,”  will be rung.
