Nash graduated from Bedford High School in 1998 and opened his carpentry business the following year; he is also the assistant director and marching instructor for the BHS Marching Band.

At the end of the installation ceremony, Selectman Chair Catherine Cordes took the floor to introduce and celebrate Ennis’s long commitment to leadership and voluntary service to Bedford. Included in the gifts presented to Ennis were a official citation from the Massachusetts Senate as well as an appreciation noting the many voluntary committees on which she has served from Bedford’s Selectmen. Ennis noted that when she and her husband moved to Bedford they only intended to stay for six months, but that it’s been a wonderful run that she continues to enjoy.
