Two Local Girl Scouts Honored for Selling More than 500 Packages of Cookies

Two local Girl Scouts, Leila Bernhardt of Bedford Troop 70426 and Olivia Tyndall of  Hanscom AFB Troop 70650, sold a total of 1,013 boxes of Girl Scout cookies this year. 

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA), the largest girl-serving organization in Massachusetts, honors local Girl Scouts who have sold more than 500 packages of cookies during the 2023-2024 cookie program. Bernhardt sold 513 boxes and Tyndall sold 500, making them members of the “500 Club.”

During the 2023-2024 cookie program, 1,943,922 packages were sold by Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and 564 Girl Scouts were a part of the “500 Club.”

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts can earn a variety of badges and awards to develop valuable business skills, including Cookie Business badges, Financial Literacy badges, Cookie Entrepreneur Family pins, and Entrepreneur badges.
