Imagine holding your next meeting, corporate retreat, community gathering, milestone birthday, or wedding surrounded by gardens and history.
Managed by the dedicated volunteers from the Friends of Job Lane House, the historic Job Lane Barn and Property awaits your next special event! With nostalgic relics like a cider press, corn sheller, and snow shoes for horses, 17th-century murals, and the option of volunteer-led tours, this picturesque venue offers a unique setting rich with local history dating back over 300 years.
The Barn easily accommodates up to 20 guests with tables, chairs, a sink, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a bathroom, and easy on-site parking. Larger events can be accommodated through the rental of port-a-potties and tents, catering, and alcohol permits.
All proceeds from rentals support the efforts of the Friends of Job Lane House. The Friends assist in museum maintenance and improvements, as well as programs such as the Broadside newsletter and the beloved Family Field Day.

As if the history, ease, and beauty of the venue weren’t enough to add the Job Lane Barn into your short list of venue considerations, Kring adds, “There are a life-size cow and pig (papier mâché of course).” The Job Lane House tours, sponsored by the Friends of the Job Lane House, run the second and fourth Sundays of the month from 2 to 4 p.m. through October.
