The North Road – Chelmsford Road Improvement Project that began in 2022 is substantially complete as the contractor wraps up the final punch list this month.
The Bedford Department of Public Works urges residents to use caution as drivers adjust to the new traffic pattern at the intersection, particularly the new flashing stop sign on the northbound lane heading to Billerica.
Staff from Public Works, Police, and Fire will be on site Thursday, June 20 to oversee the official activation of the new traffic signal.
Complete?? You must be joking. The pavement is all ripped up with patches all over the place. There are almost as many bumps and dips as there were potholes before the project.
Someone should go to the site and inspect it before accepting it as complete. North Road requires another layer of asphalt to smooth out the road.
