Lauren Abraham of Bedford, a member of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Class of 2024 majoring in biology and biotechnology, was awarded WPI’s Peer Learning Assistant of the Year Award during its annual Student Recognition Awards ceremony.
Each year, divisions and departments across campus recognize outstanding student efforts with the Student Recognition Awards. Recipients are either nominated or applied for consideration for these competitive awards.
This particular award recognizes outstanding undergraduate student instructional assistants who have made a significant contribution to the high-quality education at WPI.
As in other years, the recipients’ efforts and energy have made significant impacts on campus life. From students who give outstanding job performances or show leadership qualities to the student groups that influence and assist the broader community, the Student Recognition Awards show the depth and breadth of commitment at the university.
