Earlier last month, the Bedford Green Community celebrated resident Eugene (Gene) Trainor’s 95th Birthday.
Gene moved into Bedford Green in 2021 and is the oldest resident to have ever lived at Bedford Green.
Gene shared that one of his secrets to longevity is having honey in his coffee every day. Gene proudly served in the Korean War. Over the years, Gene has hiked every mountain peak in NH (according to his daughter).
Gene currently goes to the Bedford COA almost daily, kayaks with the outpatient recreation group, will sign-up to attend most and any on and off-site programs, has always been a big gardener, and is one of the primary Bedford Green Community Garden participants.
The residents and staff of Bedford Green appreciate Gene’s upbeat attitude and zest for all and any of life’s adventures.
Happy Birthday, Gene!
