John Glenn Middle School 99 McMahon Road, Bedford, MA, United States

Smash ‘Em, Don’t Trash ‘Em! Come to the first ever Pumpkin Smash in Bedford, where you can smash your pumpkins and have them collected for composting rather than putting them in your trash. Food waste when put in the trash creates climate change causing greenhouse gases, while composting creates healthy soil and food, sequesters carbon, reduces methane emissions, produces jobs, and even filters and cleans water while reducing runoff.
