Bedford YFS Minding your Mind Free Dinner and Discussion

First Church of Christ Congregational 25 Great Road, Bedford

The Bedford Youth and Family Services (YFS) Department is hosting a Community Dinner and Discussion to nourish your mind and body on Monday, September 26, 6pm-8pm at the First Church of Christ Congregational at 25 Great Road. YFS invites community members, parents/caregivers, teens and tweens for programming about youth mental health.   Mallory, from Minding Your Mind, will share her inspiring story about managing her mental health and how she uses self-care and coping skills to support her wellness. Strawberry Festival

First Church of Christ Congregational 25 Great Road, Bedford

Bedford’s First Church of Christ, 25 Great Road, will host its 71st  Strawberry Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 16. This popular outdoor event features fresh strawberry shortcakes and hot fudge sundaes on sale, rain or shine. Prices range from $5 to $7. Live music will also be provided. First Church Bedford to Host Two-Day Rummage Sale Apr 29 & 30

First Church of Christ Congregational 25 Great Road, Bedford

Bedford’s First Congregational Church, 25 Great Road, will host its Spring Rummage Sale on two days this year: 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 29; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Admission is free and a $1 donation at the door will benefit the Bedford Food Bank. This year’s Rummage Sale will feature a wide variety of white elephants, books, puzzles, household goods and small appliances, sports equipment, children’s toys and games, and costume jewelry. Job Lane Annual Meeting

Business Meeting and Slate of Officers vote will be followed by The Job Lane Tour filmed for the 3rd grade of the Job Lane School. Annual First Church Turkey Dinner

First Church of Christ Congregational 25 Great Road, Bedford

Enjoy the home cooked meal that has become a First Church and Bedford tradition!  The annual* (*except 2020) Turkey Dinner features a menu of roast turkey, savory stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, butternut squash, green peas, and, of course, homemade apple or pumpkin pie for dessert.  This year, due to COVID restrictions, the Turkey Dinner will be offered as a Takeout Only meal on Saturday, October 30th. Tickets are $15 per adult and $10 per child under 12 (children under 2 are free) and can be purchased by calling the church office, or by stopping by the church office between 9

First Church of Christ Congregational 25 Great Road, Bedford

Bedford’s First Church of Christ will host its 70th Strawberry Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 17. This popular outdoor event features fresh strawberry shortcakes and hot fudge sundaes on sale, rain or shine. Prices range from $5 to $7. Live music will also be provided. Free parking available off Mudge Way behind the church. (In case of rain, event is take-out only.) Guests are respectfully asked to wear facemasks, as a kindness to the unvaccinated.
