BHS Winter History Fair

History Day at BHS: At BHS, the NHD experience begins a class project in High Honors United States II history classes. Between September and January, students engage in the process of discovery and interpretation of historical topics related to the NHD theme, while honing their creative talents producing original presentations. Those projects are publicly presented at the Winter History Fair in late January. From there, some brave souls choose to continue working on their projects as an extracurricular activity with the intention of submitting those projects in the NHD competition. Bedford High School has a new performance group formed this year by a BHS Alum. The BFAB Step Team will be holding a fundraiser at Red Heat Tavern on Tuesday, Feb 21. 10% of all dine in and take out sales on Tuesday from 4pm - 10pm will be donated to the group. The Bedford High School Model United Nations (UN) club is excited to announce that it will be hosting a fundraiser at Flatbread Pizza, located at 213 Burlington Rd. in Bedford from 3 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 9. All proceeds from the event will go directly towards the club's conference fundraising and future activities. Model UN is an academic club where students simulate the United Nations and other international organizations, discussing global issues and proposing solutions.
