Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a free trail walk in the woods! We plan to explore the Hartwell Town Forest. Pace will be leisurely.

We will meet and leave from the parking lot behind the Bedford Free Public Library at 10:00 a.m.

February weather! The walk will go on regardless of weather! Prepare for cold, wind, and snow, with appropriate footwear and waterproof layers. Ski poles, snowshoes, and/or ice creepers may be necessary.

The Hartwell Town Forest is a lovely place to walk in the summer, but tends towards wet. That should not be a problem on this walk. Depending on how the weather goes in the week following the blizzard, snowshoes and/or ice creepers may be necessary. We will attempt to traverse from the entrance on Hartwell Road over to Fam Camp and back
