The Gallery @ First Parish Exhibit

Our current show features the work of oil painter, F. A. (Lee) Sadeghpour.   He was selected to attend the prestigious Institute of Fine Arts of Teheran, Iran-Kamalele Molk Institute, as the youngest pupil admitted at that time (1953). He also attended the Imperial Iranian Institute of Topography.  He moved to the United States in the 1960’s and attended the Butera School of Fine Arts and the Northeast Institute of Technology. He established his own business and pursued both practicing his art and teaching as well.  In his teaching, he advocates tone, value, hue and consistency .  His style of painting varies and is dictated by a given subject.  He generally favors representational  and Neo-realism.
