For the second time this month, the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management students at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School are pushing out a creative menu in hopes of seeing new faces in their recently re-opened Rams Head Dining Room. On March 15 and 16, students will cook and serve a festive St. Patrick’s Day menu that can be enjoyed in-house or picked-up curbside; pre-orders and reservations are encouraged.
The menu will offer a $9 classic red corned beef brisket served with cabbage, red potato, carrots, and pearl onions with a mustard cream sauce. The dinner will include a choice of Irish potato soup with leek and caraway or salad with house-made dressing. Irish soda bread and a desert will complete the meal.
An alternative $9 dinner option for St. Patrick’s Day will be Irish lamb stew served with Irish soda bread and butter, with a choice of soup or salad, and a dessert.
Shawsheen Tech’s dining room has been closed for two years due to the pandemic, and the students in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management program are eager to serve customers in a live setting. The public are encouraged to visit the restaurant for an 11:30 am or 12:00 pm seat-time, or place an order for curbside pick-up.
To make a reservation or pre-order your meal, please call the Ram’s Head Dining Room at 978-671-3668 or visit www.ShawsheenTech.org.
