Rotary Club of Bedford – Meals for Kids Meal Packaging

The Rotary Club of Bedford will be holding their 7th annual Meals for Kids meal packaging event on Saturday, April 27 at Middlesex Community College. Rotarians work with Rise Against Hunger, an international hunger relief organization that provides the supplies, packaging equipment and on-the-ground logistics of shipping and distributing the food in the communities where it’s needed. The packages will be assembled in two sessions, 9 to 11 am, and 12 to 2 pm, volunteers should choose the session they wish to help out with at signup.

When you come to MCC on April 27, to help us package meals for needy kids around the world, we ask you to bring some non-perishable food supplies and/or hygiene items  with you, so we can help kids right here at home (via the MCC food pantry).

You can help out beforehand by attending either (or both) or our fundraisers – Flatbread Pizza and Ken’s NY Deli will be donating a portion of their sales on March 12th and 26h, respectively.
