In this workshop, artist Kathy Cooper will be conveying her thought process to a successful still life oil painting of a simple subject of a pear. You will plan the painting before your brush ever hits the canvas with six principles of art: concept, design, shape, color, value, and edges. Kathy teaches that by keeping the methodical process simple, it allows a strong structure of skills that allows space for creativity to illuminate the artist’s work.
