Mozart & Handel Concert

On Sat. Sept. 29th at 7pm, the First Parish Music Committee will present a concert of Mozart & Handel, featuring a 16-piece chamber orchestra with organ soloist Heinrich Christensen and piano soloist Eric Mazonson, conducted by Bradford Conner. The program includes the Mozart Symphony No. 6 in F Major, the Handel Organ Concerto in F Major Op. 4, No. 4, and the Mozart Piano Concerto No. 27 in Bb Major. The organ is fully restored late 19th century Hook & Hastings tracker.
Organist Heinrich Christensen has been the Music Director and Organist at King’s Chapel in Boston since 2000. An accomplished soloist and accompanist, he has given recitals on four continents and was a prizewinner at the international organ competitions in Odense Denmark and Erfurt Germany. The outstanding pianist Eric Mazonson has performed his extensive repertoire in many recitals and appeared with several orchestras in the US, Canada and Europe. His busy schedule includes teaching, a church Music Directorship, and his position for over twenty years accompanying the Master Singers of Lexington. Bradford Conner has been Music Director at First Parish since 2005. He is a conductor, pianist, singer and arranger and has conducted many concerts and ensembles in the greater Boston area of classical and popular music.
Suggested donation at the door: $20 adults, $15 seniors/students. Proceeds to benefit First Parish.
