Hydrant Flushing

An event every week that begins at 8:00 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until March 28, 2018
The Bedford Water Division will be flushing hydrants to ensure clean, clear water throughout the distribution system. The work will be done between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM from March 19th to March 28th and continuing April 11th to April 20th. Signs will be set out the day before flushing in each specific area.
If you experience rusty water please let your cold water tap run for several minutes. If the water does not clear up, or if you have any questions, please contact the Department of Public Works at (781) 275-7605, Ext. 105.
