Historical Bedford Town Walk at 9:45 am Sat. Oct. 6, led by Ralph Hammond & Bedford Town Historian Sharon McDonald

Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a freeBedford Historical walk, led by Ralph Hammond and Bedford’s Town Historian Sharon McDonald. Ralph and Sharon will walk by key historical sites and share many stories about Bedford’s history, including the Fitch Tavern (shown below), the Sterns House, Blake Block, the Domine Manse, Webber Carriage House, Old School House, Ruben Duren, and other points along the way.

This should be a fun walk for people of all walking abilities as well as families with children. The walk is basically flat all the way, and mostly on sidewalks. The walk will last about one (1) hour, walking about 1.7 miles beginning and ending at the Public Library.

When and     We meet at 9:45 AMat the parking lot behind the Bedford Free Public
Where:          Library (7 Mudge Way).

Leader:          Ralph Hammond, Bedford Trails Committee and Sharon McDonald, Bedford Town Historian

Notes:            Children and well-behaved dogs on leashare welcome.  We will walk if clear or light rain.
