EmerSong – an A Cappella Festival
March 10, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Auxiliary of Emerson Hospital is pleased to present its second annual EmerSong – an A Cappella Festival – to benefit Emerson Hospital’s pain stewardship pharmacy program, aimed to prevent opioid addiction. The community is invited to attend EmerSong on Saturday, March 10 from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Kerem Shalom, 659 Elm Street in Concord.
High school and college a cappella groups will come together for a lively music festival. All proceeds from the event will benefit a multi-disciplinary pain management program at Emerson Hospital. A unique approach to reduce opioid misuse in our communities, this program aims to advance patient safety through physician, nursing and patient education, pain management alternatives, safe opioid prescription practices and more.
A cappella groups from Lexington High School, Lincoln-Sudbury High School and Bedford High School will wow the crowd, along with the MIT Logarhythms and Tufts sQ a cappella groups. An all-female adult group, BroadBand, will also perform. The evening will be emceed by Concord resident Tom Rutledge and will include cabaret-style seating, snacks, soft drinks, and a cash bar. Tickets are $25. For information and to purchase tickets, visit www.emersonhospital.org/EmerSong<https://www.emersonhospital.org/EmerSong>.
The Auxiliary wishes to thank the generous sponsors of this event: Christine & Douglas Schuster, the Fernside Program at McLean Hospital, Enterprise Bank, Emerson Emergency Physicians, The Senkler Group at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Goldfish Swim School and Lawrence Academy.
