Emerson Believes

Wendell Refior, Ralph Waldo Emerson scholar, lecturer, impersonator, and re-enactor, presents Emerson Believes: Emerson’s Beliefs and Thought, plus Selections of Major Writings
The program will take place at 7:15 pm on Thursday, February 15, in Room 202 at First Parish on Bedford Common (use the fully-accessible Elm Street entrance). The program is free, though donations to First Parish are welcome.
The program will open with a short introduction, followed by a mini-lecture, Beliefs, Influences and Thought of Ralph Waldo Emerson at 7:20 and a mini-seminar — Selections from Emerson’s Major Essays, Books and Addresses Including: Nature, Self-Reliance, Spiritual Laws, Over-Soul, “Divinity School Address”, Compensation, Circles and “The Transcendentalist — at 7:45
