The 11th annual Bedford High School Senior Fashion Show will be held Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the BHS auditorium. Members of the Class of 2019 will stride down the runway in formal, party and casual attire on loan from participating retail sponsors David’s Bridal, Marshalls, Men’s Wearhouse, Formalwear Ltd. and TJ Maxx.

Tickets will be available at the door for $15 per adult and $5 per student and senior citizen. There will be raffles items and concessions at the event. Audience members will also enjoy performances from BHS’s three a cappella groups- Buccapella, The Bellachords, and The Rolling Tones!  The Fashion Show is co-chaired by Bedford High School parents Joan Palazzo and Patti Shelmire.

Additionally, if you or your student has formal gowns (long or short) and would like to pass them on, please bring them to the BHS Fashion Show on Friday, March 22. Please make sure the dresses are cleaned and in good condition. Formal wraps, purses and shoes are also welcome. These dresses and other items will be part of a collection that will be available for any student to borrow during prom and dance season.  One of these donated dresses will be modeled in this year’s Fashion Show! (Any student who is interested in trying on and borrowing a gown or has any questions should contact Bedford High School teacher, Ms. Arena at [email protected]).

All proceeds will benefit the 32nd Annual All Night Graduation Celebration.

What is the All Night Graduation Celebration?

Parent volunteers run a safe, substance-free, electronics-free all-night graduation party on the evening following graduation.  Every graduating senior in the class of 2019 is invited, and scholarships are granted so that no student is unable to attend due to financial hardship.

The celebration is sponsored by Bedford Youth & Family Services. It is also funded by financial, food, and prize donations from the Bedford community, and is supported by the Bedford Fire and Police Departments, and the Bedford School Department.

Donors will be recognized in a future Bedford Citizen article in June 2019. For more information, or to find out how you or your business can support the All Night Graduation Celebration, please email co-chairs Dawn Kociubes and Kerry Rackey at [email protected].
