Chinese New Year at the Bedford Free Public Library on Saturday, February 9
The Children’s Room at the Bedford Free Public Library will celebrate Chinese New Year, the Year of the Pig, from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday, February 9.
The Pig is the twelfth in the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac related to the Chinese calendar, according to Google.
Children’s Librarian Bethany Klem says, “We’ll have crafts, snacks, activities, and participants names written in Chinese characters.”.
The Library’s looking forward to the celebration, and the community is cordially invited to attend.
