Here are key parts of the Event for our survivors/caregivers:
4:30 PM – Opening Ceremony
4:45 PM Survivors/Caregivers Lap
4-6 PM – Free dinner and treats in the Survivor Tent— Survivors and their Caregivers are invited to join us for dinner and desserts in a tent especially for them. We will also have special gifts for our survivors.
6:00 PM- Fight Back Ceremony — This ceremony symbolizes the will and drive of a survivor to fight back against the disease.
9:00 PM – Luminaria Ceremony — Each luminaria bears the name of someone who has battled/is battling cancer. This ceremony of light symbolizes the hope and perseverance with which we all continue to fight. We will all unite to take a silent lap around the track with glow sticks.
