The Gallery@First Parish in Bedford is pleased to announce the upcoming art exhibit “Affirmation of Life: Art from Today’s Ukraine” which will be on display Saturday, Sept. 23 through Saturday, Oct. 7. The Gallery@First Parish is located at First Parish in Bedford, 75 Great Road, Bedford, MA.
The show will be a rare opportunity for visitors to see and enjoy contemporary art from Ukraine. Works in this exhibit represent a spectrum of art by artists living and working in Ukraine today. Much of this art will be on view for the first time in the United States having been collected for this show by Bedford residents Vlad Shapiro and Nataliya Proskura.
Opening weekend Saturday, Sept. 23rd and Sunday, Sept. 24th:
For the remainder of the show, Gallery hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

All proceeds from the exhibit will go to Mriya (https://mriya-ua.org), a non-profit organization created by local Ukrainians, mostly young professionals and students, to provide humanitarian support for Ukraine as well as support for the arts.
