Addressing the Complexities of Climate Change – Free presentation by Dr. Robert C. Stowe
October 3, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free
The devastating effects of climate change are evident worldwide. To address this global crisis successfully will require large-scale social and economic transformation. Dr. Robert C. Stowe — Director of Harvard’s Project on Climate Agreements & the Harvard Environmental Economics Program — will discuss several reasons WHY fixing this crisis is so complex and HOW we might overcome its challenges.
Drawing from more than 26 years of experience, Dr. Stowe is a leading expert on today’s complex environmental issues.
Dr. Stowe holds a Ph.D. in political science from MIT and an A.B. in physics from Harvard. He has worked in the non-profit, academic, and business sectors — as a teacher, consultant, editor, and member of key international panels such as the Climate Change Expert Group (hosted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) and the World Bank’s Technical Expert Group for Supporting Article 6 [of the “Paris Agreement”].
Come join us for this fascinating and timely presentation! All are welcome!
