ACA-Pocalypse, A Cappella Extravaganza!

CHELMSFORD HIGH SCHOOL TO HOST ACA-POCALYPSE EVENT FEATURING THE THURSDAYS, THE CRESCENDOS, AND A BEDFORD A CAPPELLA GROUP
ACA-POCALYPSE is a two-day a cappella event that will be held on March 22nd-23rd, 2019. This event will feature amazing a cappella groups from throughout the Boston area and will be held at the Carl J. Rondina Performing Arts Center at the Chelmsford High School. There will be a 7:30pm show on Friday, March 22nd, and a 7pm show on Saturday, March 23rd. Master classes and workshops taught by Northeastern University’s The Nor’easters and others will also be available to a cappella enthusiasts on Saturday, March 23rd. Northeastern University’s 2018 ICCA semifinalist, Distilled Harmony, is the headliner for Friday night’s show, and Northeastern University’s 2017 ICCA winner, Nor’easters, is the headliner for Saturday night’s show.
Chelmsford’s own a cappella groups, The Crescendos and The Thursdays, will perform at both shows. The two groups recently advanced to the Semifinal round of the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) while earning individual awards in arranging, choreography, and vocal percussion. The Thursdays have twice represented the Northeast region in the ICHSA finals and were a winning group on season 4 of Sing That Thing! on WGBH.
Tickets for ACA-POCALYPSE are available now for $10/student & seniors and $20/adult at the door, but can be pre-purchased with early bird discounts through https://chelmsfordacappella.org/. Ticket proceeds are tax deductible, and all net proceeds benefit Chelmford’s a cappella groups at Chelmsford High School.
