Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

First Church of Christ Congregational 25 Great Road, Bedford

The First Church of Christ, Congregational in Bedford, 25 Great Rd., will host an old-fashioned spaghetti dinner on Friday, March 17. There will be continuous seating from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit First Church ministries. The dinner will include pasta, sauce with meatballs, salad, garlic bread and dessert. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. A suggested donation of $10 per adult and $5 per child will be taken at the door. The Bedford High School Performing Arts Department will present CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION, the long-running Kander & Ebb Broadway musical, March 15 through 18 in the BHS Auditorium. The production, led by director Katrina Faulstich, features approximately eighty students in the cast, crew, and pit orchestra. CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION is most appropriate for audiences in middle school and up. The show runs 90 minutes with one intermission. Timekeeping and Timekeepers in Early New England

Horology, the science of timekeeping, is the fascination of Robert Frishman, who will conduct an Antiques Roadshow-style informal appraisal of attendees’ clocks and watches at the end of his lecture Timekeeping and Timekeepers in Early New England. He will weave into his talk information about the grandfather clock on loan to the Society (in a corner of The Great Room), and other antique timepieces in the Society’s collections.
