ENTRY FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE LIBRARY AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT WALK-UPS-WELCOME!!!  No Charge JANUARY 29th, 2023   at JOHN GLEN MIDDLE SCHOOL 12:00pm – 3:00 pm   Competition Level Each contestant receives three warm-up tosses followed by 15 consecutive free throw attempts from the appropriate age-designated foul line. “Ukraine 101: Root causes of the Russian invasion in context – Ukraine’s history, culture, and people”

First Parish in Bedford, Unitarian Universalist 75 The Great Rd, Bedford

First Parish in Bedford is hosting a two-part presentation on Ukraine:   Sunday, Jan. 29 and Sunday, Feb. 5 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm. Vlad Shapiro, a Ukrainian-American from Kviv, will speak briefly about the root causes and current state of the Russian invasion in Ukraine.  Vlad will also provide background on cultural & historical differences between the Ukraine & Russian populations, Ukraine’s place in the global economy, as well as key information about Ukrainian culture and traditions. Both sessions will include plenty of time for questions from the audience.     These talks will be accessible on Zoom for those
