By Carrie Powers , EL Director K-12, Bedford Public Schools

The Bedford Adult ESL program, in partnership with the Cummings Foundation, is offering free English classes. If you are interested in learning English or improving your English, register for Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced English Learning Class.

Spring semester classes will be taught on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bedford High School, 9 Mudge Way, beginning on Jan. 25.

Bedford Adult ESL had a successful fall semester, teaching more than 125 adults and children at the Bedford Plaza Hotel campus and the Bedford High School campus.

The hotel campus offered Beginning and Intermediate ESL classes along with a Dual Language program for the children of the adult learners.

The Bedford High School campus offered a Beginning and Intermediate ESL class along with a Citizenship Prep class. Thai, Russian, Haitian Creole, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, and Spanish speakers spent 14 weeks learning English.

Join the 12-week spring program for Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced ESL classes at the Bedford High School campus. The Bedford Plaza Hotel Campus will resume at the same time, offering Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced ESL and a Dual Language Literacy program.
