Springs Brook Park Prepares for June 22 Opening

Springs Brook Park is scheduled to open for the summer on Thursday, June 22, and Recreation Department staff members are excited about extended hours and special events.

Park hours will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“There will be many special events, such as Touch-a-Truck Day, water-balloon-toss games, Mermaid Day, Trivia Day, and sand castle contests,” said Recreation Director Josh Smith. “The concession stand will be reopening, featuring ice cream, slush, beverages, and snack foods.”

Memberships for the season are available online, in the Recreation Department’s Town Center office, as well as at the park once it opens. “We have special Bedford senior citizen and middle and high school membership options,” Smith said.
Other details are available online, at www.bedfordrecreation.org, Springs Brook Park , or SBP-Brochure-2023-final-copy (bedfordma.gov).
