The Bedford High School softball team took home a nice bounce-back win from Lexington High on Tuesday by a convincing score of 15-3.

The Bucs’ march to the postseason hit a speed bump on Monday with a 5-1 home loss vs. 17-1 Lincoln-Sudbury, but it didn’t take long for 12-4 Bedford to return to the win column.

The girls travel to Belmont on Wednesday afternoon and return home Friday to face Acton-Boxborough at 4 p.m.

In Lexington, Bedford led 5-3 after four innings, then exploded for three runs in the fifth inning and seven in the sixth.

Kaylee Grace (three hits, two runs batted in) and Maggie Carluccio (two hits, three RBI) led the 10-hit attack. Sami Langioe scored three runs, Ani Eskandarian added two more, and both were solid defensively.

Coco Steele pitched into the fourth inning and picked up the win, striking out five, Grace came in to close, and the two held the Minutemen to a single base hit.
