More than two dozen student-athletes from Bedford High School will take part in the MIAA Division 4 track and field championships on Friday and Sunday at Notre Dame High School in Hingham.

“Each of these athletes qualified to compete in their events by being in the top 32 people in the division for running events and top 24 in the division for throwing or jumping events,” said girls track head coach Rich Donnelly.

The Bedford delegation will be led by senior Jessica Lin, vying in girls’ discus, javelin, and shot put. In the May 17 Dual County League championships, navigating windy conditions, Lin finished first in shot put with a throw of 34 feet, one-half inch; second in javelin with a throw of 97 feet, two inches; and third in discus with a throw of 99 feet, four inches.
