First Parish’s Plant and Craft Fair Returns to the Bedford Common on May 20

Rain or shine, First Parish’s 67^th annual Plant and Craft Fair will take place on the Common from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 20.

The pots are nearly all filled with heritage perennials as well as seedlings for the fair. There will be knowledgeable people available for advice about plants or gardens, as well as local crafters and artists.

Children will enjoy the day as well, with Chip-In Farm sharing farm animals to pet and touch. Crafts and other children’s activities will also be available.

Jersey Mikes and other food vendors will be there.

Note: Only cash, credit cards, and checks will be accepted for purchases at the fair.

Proceeds from the plant and craft sale will support the work of The First Parish in Bedford, Unitarian Universalist. In addition to other programs, First Parish supports local initiatives including Bedford Community Table and the weekly Food Bank; Bedford Embraces Diversity; the Annual Tenacity Challenge at Bedford High School; and the Bedford Family Connection.

There is still room for more vendors at the fair. The deadline to sign up is Saturday, May 13.
