Bedford Family Connection Celebrates 35 Years with a Celebration on June 24

May 25, 2023

Join the Bedford Family Connection as they celebrate 35 years of family fun!

Since its inception in 1988 by two local moms, Sarah Dorer and Judi Babcock, the Bedford Family Connection has been a cornerstone in the Bedford community, providing support, connection, and resources for families with young children in the area.

To celebrate this momentous anniversary, the BFC is holding a 35th anniversary family-friendly bash from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 on the lawn adjacent to the Bedford Recreation Department and Playground (across from the Bedford Public Library).

Members and non-members are invited to enjoy a live bubble performer, The New Grown-ups – a family friendly folk band performing live music, activities and giveaways, and ice cream. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the music.

Entry is $10 for members and $15 for non-members with a cash-only option at the door. Purchasing ice cream will be a separate cost.

To find out more information or to purchase tickets, head to the BFC website: https://bfctoday.org/event-5281534/Registration.

The BFC Directors, Leah Devereaux and Katie Kass, are still trying to track down co-directors from 1994 to 2005, as well as written memories and photos from anyone’s time with the BFC. Email [email protected] with any information or contributions.

The BFC event planning committee “can’t wait” to see everyone at the celebration.
