Softball Team Win Features Complete Game Pitching and a Balanced Attack

The 2023 edition of the Bedford High School softball team is a combination of experience and youth, and there were contributions from both in this week’s 9-5 victory over Belmont.

Senior Kaylee Grace registered a complete game victory from the mound, striking out nine. Her classmate Gianna Missiti reached base four times, scored three runs, and drove in two. Lexie Masters, a freshman, added three RBI, and her classmate Kate Patterson crossed the plate twice.

Another freshman, Sami Langone, doubled and scored two runs, and senior Lulu Steele added two hits. Playing her first varsity game as catcher was sophomore Alice Cooprider.

The Bucs travel to North Andover for a Friday afternoon non-league match, then play at home next Monday and Wednesday.
